I would like blacks to stop having kids out of wedlock (70%). Thats pitifull if you ask me. The cities with the most crime in Michigan are Detroit, Pontiac, Flint , Saginaw guess what they have in common. Yep you are right, they have a high population of black people. Detroit stands no chance in hell. You lived here you know the neighborhoods suck ass. The people are leaving the city as fast as they can. The school system is in shambles. I would work 3 jobs if I had to get my family out of there. The city is going the same way the big 3 is.
Please I am not a guy that knows nothing the inner city. I have worked in the city and been in the neighborhoods many many times.
That's the thing I don't get. People that live in Detroit even the immediate area surrounding Detroit act like they have magnet stuck to their asses and can't leave there. I saw the writing on the wall years ago and hauled ass out of Metro Detroit. At this point, I was living in the 'burbs but saw the fallout effect of how Detroit effects the surrounding areas. Even visiting Detroit now is depressing as shit. By the way Righty, I understand you've been exposed to the inner city but there ain't shit like actually living there and I wouldn't wish that on no one!
